Back by popular demand !! - The Thrasher Rock Salmon Adventure running in May through July only. This is a 10+ hour fully guided charter to the BC Gulf islands where the Spring time King/Chinook fishery can be excellent. We travel 20 miles from our dock in downtown Vancouver and fish the waters of the Gulf Islands south of Nanaimo, BC. Chinook or King salmon fishing in the Spring time can be very good in this area and along the way we normally see Seals, Sea Lions, Dolphins and sometimes we get really lucky and see a pod of Orca (Killer Whales) as the area is rich in food supply.
This trip includes lunch for up to four persons including a beverage of your choice at the Silva Bay Marina Pub on Gabriola Island in the BC Gulf Islands. The trip is private for up to 4 persons onboard one of our 28' sportfish boats. We depart at 7am and return about 5 in the afternoon - lots of time to clean fish, take photos and get back to the hotel before dinner. You are welcome to bring whatever food and "beverges" on board you like for this whole day on the water. The cost for 4 persons is CDN $1195.00, 3 persons is $1095, 2 persons $995.00 and if you are by yourself the rate is $895.00.
All of our vessels are Transport Canada inspected, fully charter insured, carry all mandatory safety equipment and all of our Captains and Guides are British Columbia medical trained and TC certified. VHF radio's, navigation equipment and cellular phones are standard equipment. We supply the Captain and boat; all fuel, fishing rods, tackle, bait, and care of your day’s catch. B.C. Saltwater Fishing licenses are required and are available on all of our boats. Dress for the weather and please don't wear black soled work boots as our boats are white fiberglass decking.
Price includes the Captain with boat and fuel, all bait and fishing tackle, any boat moorage and of course cleaning and bagging of your trips catch. Lunch and a beverage of your choice is included at the Silva Bay Marina Pub next door to the fishing grounds.
Saltwater fishing licenses are required for those fishing and are available on board for CDN$15.00 for the day. Alcohol (beer, wine, etc.) and any guide gratuity is not included. Tipping, while not mandatory is greatly appreciated as your guide will work very hard to make your adventure the best possible.
Day Fishing Adventures: A VALID credit card is required to book and hold your day fishing trip. *If you must cancel, we will cancel your reservation without penalty with more than 7 days notice. If cancelled with less than 7 days notice, 50% of the trip price plus GST is charged on your credit card. If you fail to show up for your trip you are responsible for the entire trip price.
